Celebrating 75 Years and Counting
In 1948 John Henry Kappus became the distributor for Taylor frozen dessert equipment in the Ohio region and the John H. Kappus Company was born in the basement of his home. By developing long-lasting relationships built on trust and quality, Kappus Company has become a leader in foodservice equipment supply, partnering with food and beverage providers large and small.
Kappus has been family owned and operated for three generations, with John Kappus currently at the helm as President & CEO. Today, more than 85 team members are committed to upholding the company’s core values and living a shared vision, carrying on the legacy of quality, service and innovation that John Henry Kappus set the foundation for in his basement more than 75 years ago.
