Chef Roger comes to Kappus Company with more than thirty years of experience in the culinary field. His extensive experience includes representation and culinary support for various commercial equipment manufacturers, as well as national accounts such as Kroger, Speedway, and Safeway/Albertsons. In addition, Chef Roger also spent time as an Executive Chef at local area restaurants, hotels, and country clubs. He earned his Associates in Culinary Arts from Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio.
Chef Roger is a valuable resource at Kappus as he is focused on promoting and supporting the newly added Lainox Combi-Oven line. He has multi-year experience with combi-ovens, both on the manufacturing and the end-user side, making Chef Roger the perfect support for customers looking to purchase a combi-oven. As the host of our Monthly Naboo Challenge, he invites guests to the Kappus Culinary Center to experience the capabilities of the Naboo Combi-Oven and how it can revolutionize any kitchen.
Chef Roger, an avid hockey fan, loves watching the Columbus Blue Jackets. As well, he’s a fan of all Cleveland sports teams. In his spare time, Roger enjoys being in the wilderness doing such things as hiking, camping and mountain biking.

Jon has always had a passion for the food industry which shows in his 20 years of dedicated service. He graduated Sigma Cum Laude from the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts. Along with his superior education, he holds multiple certifications in restaurant and hospitality management. His career started as an Executive/Corporate Chef where he spent over 10 years gaining experience in multiple professional kitchens. That passion and drive for success helped Jon become the Top-Level Sales Consultant for the largest, privately-held broad line food distributor in the world where he remained for over 9 years.
Jon has gained unsurpassed knowledge in customer service and staying on trend with the ever-changing need of today’s demanding market place. Jon also brings high energy and the ability to adapt to any challenge a Kappus Company customer may have.
As a triathlete and married father of two daughters, Jon carries his passion for life into all that he does.

Ken Matt has brought his experience and creativity to the food and beverage marketplace for over 20 years. He averages 100 installations per year with well over 2,000 in his career. Ken strives to bring innovative technology to food service operations while working to streamline production and lower costs. His approach for implementing high-profit programs into existing and start-up businesses has earned him a strong following among his current customers.

Judd Bower joined the Kappus Company in 2017. After 10 years in the food industry, Judd worked in IT sales for over 11 years. This combination enables Judd to quickly learn various technologies, and it has allowed him to provide valuable resource to customers in Central Ohio. As a graduate of Ohio University and being based out of Lancaster, Ohio, Judd brings excitement and passion to his role at Kappus. When he is not on the road, you can find Judd participating in all things outdoors – especially fishing.

With over nine years of sales and project management experience in event, consumer sales, and home improvement industries, AJ brings a professional, customer-focused approach to his clients. His consultative selling techniques enable him to understand his customers’ needs and provide innovative solutions and opportunities to their businesses. AJ is passionate about his work and the success of his customers. As a proud graduate of the University of Dayton, AJ is now busy with his two young children but tries to golf as much as he can.

Joining Kappus in 2015, Ryan Church has over six years of sales and hospitality experience in C-stores and commercial textiles for the hotel and motel industry. While bringing a customer-first, value-added sales approach, Ryan demonstrates confidence, honesty, and fairness to his customers which makes him a valued resource. Ryan graduated from Washington and Jefferson College with a BA in Business Administration and currently resides in Wheeling, WV. If he isn’t calling on customers, Ryan stays active in basketball, flag football, and participates fantasy sport leagues.
