Position Summary

Kappus Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to plan, execute and supervise projects to meet management’s objectives and to ensure project delivery within budget and on-time. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage account(s) and product line(s)
• Become an expert on the equipment and the full lifecycle of a sale, including inventory planning, quotes, order processing, shipments, invoicing, and parts requests
• Ability to make quick decisions within a framework or with limited guidance
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and co-workers
• Deliver project updates and results
• Train team members to be back-ups for their responsibilities and be trained to back-up others

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years’ experience in purchasing or project management preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the highest level of professionalism
• Ability to manage project timelines and coordinate lead times to meet delivery deadlines
• Ability to manage logistics for equipment ordering, delivery and warranty
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills; positive attitude; team player
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
